"When allowed to do what we want to do, we are most likely to revert to
whatever we previously found enjoyable and/or successful. This amounts to
what I call, “another one of those” artworks. Sad as that is, the worst
part is that the creative process is not being learned." (Marvin Bartel in his blog entitled Teaching Creativity: http://www.goshen.edu/%7Emarvinpb/arted/tc.html )

This exposure to create my own video clip is something definitely new for me. Though I have previously used Windows Movie Maker to create vidoe clips, they were hardly educational. Using this entertainmnt tool for educational purpose is very interesting.
Working in groups we planned our project and came up with combining all of our single production into one whole, creating a continuous chain of events that are interrelated. This sounds easy but the difficult part is to develop a story and a continuous event. So, that is exactly what we are doing right now!

yeah. i think we should explore more teaching aids by using technology. but sometimes, we cant be too dependant on technology. that are times, we should use traditional teaching aids too. for me, the combination of both would be nicer becoz both have pros and cons. =)
Sounds like an interesting project. Do teachers actually collaborate in projects to develop multimedia enriched teaching materials? As an outsider, I've often observed that teachers very rarely work as team on specific projects, unlike in Engineering or Medicine.
Actually that is what this course is all about. We as teachers create multimedia projects that can come in handy in classroom. Surfing the internet alone one would stumble upon a zillion such projects. Perhaps the teachers presently at school aren't actively integrating technology in their lessons but we are being trained to do so. And I must ensure you that we, today's teacher do find it cosier to work with technology as it lightens our burden.
